Why Jurassic Park?

Okay. So I am getting on the blog train. Yes, here I am.. bags packed, ticket in hand, waving goodbye to my non-blog days. Now is anyone ever going to read this? I don't know. I guess I believe that "writing it-down" is a "good thing." (love you Martha!)

So why "jurassic park"?

No reason, except for that this particular phrase proves that it is the little things that count....

A couple of years back, after a night out on the town, after libations, and most likely some dancing (possibly on a bar), we went back for a late night at one of our friends' boyfriends' house.
Everyone was still ready to keep going. After playing some music Real Loud on Repeat (for those who must know it was "The little black back pack song" - I have just aged myself), we went back to the living room and split up into teams for... Charades.

I give the word-in-play to the member of the opposite team. She begins.
She walks a couple of steps. Stops. Reaches out her hand. She mimics opening a door and sliding inside. It must be a car. She puts her hands in front of her, as on a wheel, and moves them in opposite directions up and down. She is driving. She clutches the wheel. She extends her right leg. She must be breaking. Again, her arms in front of her are moving in the same way. Her body is leaning from left to right. She is driving. She stops. She opens the door. She gets out. She gets in... She groans... Oh the agony!!... All this time the crowd is calling out with guesses in hopes to finally latch on to at least ONE word in this puzzle. They are yelling "Driving!Stopping!Getting Out! Getting in! Accelerating! Turning!" There is laughter, yelling, clutching of the sides... Happy tears. There is no salvation for our Actor though. Her salvation is never to be. Her team has run out of time.
The clue she was giving... "PARK".

I still laugh when I think about that one night, that one game of charades.. And the fun we all had.
The little things really are the ones that matter. And THAT is why.
